The menu Tools is your central access to the most important processing of Cartool, while you can find a few utilities under the File menu.

FREQ to Tracks |
To batch split .freq files (3 dimensional) into tracks files (2 dimensional), with one file per frequency. |

To batch fusion tracks file back into a .freq file. |
FREQ to Spectrum |
To batch split .freq files (3 dimensional) into tracks files (2 dimensional), with one file per spectrum. |

Associate files with Cartool |
Restores all the file associations to the default of Cartool, f.ex. associating .ep .eph files to directly open on double-click. |
Remove file association from Cartool |
Removes all the file associations made toward Cartool, you can not double-click a file and it opens into Cartool anymore. |

Harware Acceleration |
Auto: the default, Cartool tries to detect if you have an OpenGL hardware implementation. On: force using the OpenGL hardware implementation. Off: force using the (very old) OpenGL software implementation of Windows. |
3D Textures |
Auto: the default, Cartool tries to use 3D Textures for MRI display. On: force using the 3D Textures for MRI display. Off: force the 3D Textures for MRI display off. You might need this if the MRI display does not work, like in some Virtual Machines. |
